10th Anniversary
The 2011 Craig Blass Memorial Golf Tournament

Please join us on Friday, September 9th, at Virginia Oaks Golf Club (Gainesville, VA) for the Craig Blass Memorial Golf Tournament. This year marks the 10-Year Anniversary of 9-11 and we are coming together to raise money for the Craig Blass Memorial Scholarship at James Madison University.

The “Early Bird” registration deadline closes at midnight on August 9th; everyone who has registered by that time will be entered into the Early Bird raffle. The winner of the raffle will receive an Overnight Stay at the Bavarian Inn in Historic Shepherdstown, West Virginia. You will enjoy a relaxing stay at the AAA Four Diamond Inn in a luxury style room with king bed, sitting area, whirlpool bath gas, fireplace and private balcony with Potomac River views. Enjoy the Inn's beautiful pool, tennis court and 11 acres of grounds. Breakfast the next day in the Potomac Dining Room is also included in this getaway package (a $275 value).

You know you’re going to play, so don’t wait - register early! Upon completing your registration, you will also be able to purchase football game tickets for JMU’s Home Opener on September 10th, for you and your friends and family. Information about purchasing these tickets will be included in the confirmation email once you've registered for the tournament. Come cheer on the Dukes at the newly expanded stadium!

If you or your company would like to be a sponsor of the Tournament, please be sure to review our various sponsor options. Thank you for your support!

Foursome & Tee Assignments

Foursomes and Tee assignments will be available at registration upon arrival at the tournament.  For those of you registering as a team, you will only need your tee assignment.

Rules & Cheater's Package Components

Captain's Choice (Scramble) - Each player hits the ball off the tee.  The team decides which ball to play from.  All players then hit from that location.  Even the putt.  Record 1 team score.

Mulligans - The "do-over".  Mulligans cannot be used on a prize hole or to win a contest.  You can use it on the hole but cannot win the prize.  Limited to two per person.

Skirt Shots - Your ability to hit from the ladies tees.  This is NOT a mulligan.  You must decide to hit from the ladies tee before hitting from the Blues.  No limit on how many can be purchased.

Cheater Packages - Preconfigured options that include things such as Mulligans, Skirt Shots, Raffle Tickets and even entry into the Putting Contest depending on the level purchased.  Cheater packages provide greater value over purchasing the components separately.

Out of Towners

For friends who are traveling for the tournament weekend, we can recommend a number of local hotels.  Please contact Jason for suggestions.
