Contests & Prizes

Acumen Poker

Putting Contest

Everyone is eligible to participate in the Putting Contest which will begin at 11:15AM on the practice green.  A $10 entry fee gives you 3 chances to sink a put during this preliminary round.

Run-offs will be held until we reach one finalist who will then putt for $10K on the 18th green immediately following golf.

Golf Ball Survivor

A team contest which runs throughout the tournament and it's NOT as complicated as it may sound.  Each team receives one ball with their team number on it at the start of play.  Players take turns using the ball throughout the tournament.  Example:  Player 1 uses it on Hole #1, Player 2 on Hole #2, Player 3 on Hole #3, Player 4 on Hole #4, Player 1 on Hole #5, Player 2 on Hole #6 and so on.

If throughout the course of play, someone loses the ball, your team is out.  If you are able to play the day and return the ball with your scorecard at the end of the outing, the ball will be placed into a sack and a winning team will be pulled out of the sack for a 50/50 raffle.

The cost is $40 per team.  So if 25 teams participate, $500 will go to the scholarship and $500 will go to the winning team!

Closest to the Pin

Who says you need to get a hole in one to get a prize?  Not us!  Just be the person closest to the pin and you shall win a prize!

Longest Drive

Let's say you're not an accurate hitter, just a big one.  Well we won't leave you out in the cold.  Out muscle your fellow golfers (so long as you stay on the fairway) and take home a prize!

Mark Pollak of Ameriprise

Hole in One $20K

No tournament would be complete without everyone taking their turn at greatness.  Each player will have the chance to win $20,000 on a hole in one.  In 2006 one of our players walked away with $20,000 in cash.  Will you?

Hole in One Prizes

So that the other Par 3 holes don't feel left out, why not throw in some big time prizes for the rest so they can join in the fun.

AutoScandia's

$1 Million Dollar Shot

The mother of all contests and prizes.  One lucky player will get the opportunity to take a shot, one shot at $1,000,000 in cash.  A raffle ticket number will be drawn and that winner will walk onto the 18th fairway at the start of the reception and take one swing from 165 yards for $1 Million Dollars.
